THAT’S A WRAP! — MRLBC 2026

What a way to finish the season!

53 bowlers came out for our End-of-Season Wind-Up Tournament and Potluck, and Mother Nature certainly cooperated with a beautiful sunny September day.

Congratulations to our winners:

1st – Charlotte, Nadine, John S. & Evelyn          2nd – George, Sandy & Bill          3rd – Stephen, Carmen & Gord

Of course, no MRLBC event happens without the people working behind the scenes!

A huge thank you to Sharon S. and Allan for organizing and running the tournament; Katrina, our photographer; Don C. and Katrina our scoreboard gurus; and Bonnie, along with many helping hands who kept everything running smoothly in and around the kitchen. And thank you to Nita, Wally and Mel for pitching in as needed with a variety of duties.

And then there was the potluck! What an unbelievable spread! Our members certainly outdid themselves with a table full of delicious dishes and more choices than anyone could possibly sample. Thank you to everyone who brought something to share. Sunshine, friendly competition, plenty of laughs, great food and company — we could not have asked for a better way to wind up MRLBC’s 2026 season.

The organized season may be over, but with a little cooperation from our West Coast winter, you are bound to find a few members out on the green whenever the opportunity arises!
