V and D Senior Mens Singles 2026
Maple Ridge Lawn Bowling Club hosted a Two Day V and D Senior Men’s tournament. 16 players from various Lower Mainland teams participated.
The grand winner was Dave Baldwin (White Rock), 2nd place Ray Wakeman (Maple Ridge) and 3rd place Alvin Tse (Richmond).

🏆 Congratulations to MRLBC’s Ray, Patrick, and Stephen on capturing 1st Place at the Dick Williams Men’s Triples Tournament hosted by North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club!
The team brought home the championship plaque and the top prize of $240 with an outstanding performance throughout the day.
Well done, gentlemen, on representing Maple Ridge with skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

CAPS TITLE
Congratulations to Kevin, Darrell and Bill on an outstanding performance at the Tsawwassen Lawn Bowling Club Interclub Men's Triples Tournament!
They finished in 2nd place, ending the tournament with an impressive 4-0 record. In fact, they were one of only two teams to remain undefeated!
The championship came down to the narrowest of margins, with the winning team finishing at +23 shot differential to our team’s +22—just one shot separated them.
Provincial Fours Championship
CONGRATULATIONS TO PROVNCIAL FOURS CHAMPIONS!
Congratulations to George Cubiss (Maple Ridge LBC) and his teammates Steve Foster (Lead-Gordon Head LBC), Brent Jansen (Skip-Oak Bay LBC), and Dave Mathie (Vice-Juan De Fuca LBC) on capturing the BC Provincial Fours Championship at Gordon Head Lawn Bowling Club.
The team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing with 8 wins and 1 tie to earn the provincial title.
We are especially proud to see Maple Ridge’s own George Cubiss as part of the championship team.
The foursome will now represent British Columbia at the Canadian Major Championships being held this August at the North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club.
Please join us in congratulating George and his team of umpires on this tremendous achievement and wishing them continued success at Nationals!
